The Chapman Museum is a village-type setting with 16 buildings including several schools, a pioneer home, a railway station, an old-time store, a magazine and tobacco shop, and a church that is over 115 years old. All buildings are furnished with artifacts.

Antiques and artifacts are displayed in 10 buildings and cover a wide variety of historical themes that capture the essence of that era. Treasures from the past include several restored antique cars and trucks, antique farm machinery, and tools. Also features a large assortment of tin containers, glassware china and porcelain, dolls, and children's toys. There is something that would appeal to all ages.

This museum includes the St. Matthew's Ancrum Anglican Church built in 1901 which is intact. In addition there is a three-room house completely furnished with turn of the century antiques and/or collectibles. Articles include farm wrenches, machinery, and over 2,000 sheets of music, many dating to the First World War.
