The HOSPITAL offers 13 Acute Care Beds; 1 Palliative Care Bed; Diagnostic Services; Emergency Services; Public Health Services; Mental Health Services; Home Care Services; Respite Program; Rehabilitation Unit* and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Unit.
The PERSONAL CARE HOME offers 20 Long Term Care Beds. (see below)
The WESTWOOD LODGE is a 12 unit housing facility for elderly persons.

*The RIVERS REHABILITATION UNIT was opened in November 2005, thanks to a partnership between the Assiniboine RHA and Brandon RHA, and Manitoba Health. This project is part of the Wait Time Reduction strategy aimed to reduce wait times for patients needing join replacement/repair surgery. The Rivers Rehab Unit offers intensive rehab services to patients following hip replacement/repair surgery at Brandon Regional Health Centre, health centres in Winnipeg or Boundary Trails located at Morden/Winkler.

The Riverdale Personal Care Home a 20-bed facility that offers quality care for levels two to four residents. Services available on request include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietary, and medical services. Other services include housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
The activity staff at the home gives residents the opportunity to keep active. Activity programs include exercise programs, outings, Bingos, church services, baking, entertainment, celebrations, socializing, and one-to-one interaction.
There are two major hospitals are within a 44 km (27 mile) radius. The Brandon Regional Health Authority offers nearly all services with 94 doctors with hospital authorization (75 which see patients) 336 beds, and 16 dentists with hospital authorization. The Hamiota Hospital has 22 beds and 6 baby units and is serviced by 5 doctors. The Minnedosa Hospital, located 58 km (36 miles) away, has 27 beds and is serviced by 5 physicians.
The Town of Rivers is serviced by its own local police force and has been since Rivers was incorporated into a town in 1913. This force is known for having one of the highest crime-solving rates in the province of Manitoba. The Town of Rivers Police Service is made up of three full-time police officers.
The R.M. of Daly is serviced by two detachments of the R.C.M.P - the Blue Hills Detachment out of Souris and the Yellowhead Detachment out of Hamiota.
The Town of Rivers and the R.M. of Daly are serviced by the Rivers-Daly Fire Department. 15 trained volunteers staff this Fire Department.
The Rivers & District ambulance serves Rivers and most of the R.M. of Daly. The southeast portion of the R.M. of Daly is served by Brandon Ambulance Service.
Rivers has a volunteer-based ambulance service with one ambulance which was purchased in 1997; two Emergency Medical Technicians; seven Emergency Medical Responders, and six basic first aid trained attendants. These numbers will increase as more people are currently being trained.
Emergency service is currently available at Riverdale Health Centre.
The Town of Rivers and R.M. of Daly began using the 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone Service in March of 1998. Now, the 9-1-1 system can be accessed from any home, business, cell phone or pay phone within the Town of Rivers and the R.M. of Daly.
